Ataköy Marina

After purchasing the rocky terrain with a view of the picturesque Lakki port, Leros Marina, Evros S.A., was founded in 1989. During the Italian occupation of the Dodecanese Islands from 1913 until 1943, Lakki served as an aviation and naval base for the entire Eastern Mediterranean. At the exact location where the Italians moored their hydroplanes, the area was identified in the northeastern corner and at the head of Lakki bay, GPS: 37o 07’42.30′′ N – 26o 51’20.50′′ E. A new marina and yacht harbor have been built on this private property. It was the first boatyard and marina in Greek waters in the South East Aegean.

Leros Marina, which lies in the safest section of Lakki Bay and is entirely shielded from all winds, including the fierce S.E. Sirocco (or “Evros” in Greek), provides the chance for special experiences in the South Aegean Sea, a popular area for cruising and sailing. A modern marina with up to 220 berths, 9 floating pontoons with mooring lines, electricity, and water, and a fully equipped boatyard with room for up to 600 boats on the dry-dock are all part of the private, fenced property.
